COSVAL GROUP WAS BORN FROM SERGIO BAERLOCHER'S VISION AND HAS EVOLVED OVER THREE GENERATIONS INTO THE INNOVATIVE GROUP WE KNOW TODAY.
Initially, the company was involved in the Italian distribution of high-end fragrances and natural cosmetic products from the Canton of Valais (Switzerland); the name Cosval itself comes from the fusion of “Cosmetics” and “Valais”. In 1980, Carlo Baerlocher, a member of the family's second generation, succeeded his father as head of the company and worked to diversify Cosval Group's product range, launching three new brands: Sanotint, Migliorin and Cosval Integratori. Following twenty years of success in Italy, in 1990 Cosval entered new markets, including the Middle East and Northern Europe. With the turn of the millennium, the Group significantly expanded the product lines of the three brands, which now count over 200 items. Over the last ten years, Cosval Group has rapidly consolidated its presence in the Middle East by establishing a permanent, independent hub in the United Arab Emirates.
