The peach (otherwise known as Prunus persica) is a deciduous tree belonging to the Rosaceae family. First cherished and cultivated in the Zhejiang province of Eastern China, the peach is now widespread in many temperate climates. Without a doubt, peaches are a sensorial experience: peach-like soft skin brushes the lips, a fresh yet honey-sweet aroma greets the nostrils and the tastebuds are treated.

The peach’s popularity as a fragrance note reached its zenith in the 1990s, when the fashion industry fell into a fruity fragrance frenzy.

Velvety and soft, the peach note adds a juicy and smooth note to fine and functional compositions. Its scent is pervasive yet soft: it adds a comforting, peach-like sweet duality to floral bouquets and fruity compositions.
