Rose of the Morning
An olfactory journey that begins at dawn on an autumn morning, when silence still dances among the leaves and the air is filled with suspended dreams, and the whisper of a rose is born. Its newly opened, pearly petals tremble under the light touch of dew, like tears of stars fallen in the night. An evanescent freshness, aquatic notes that speak of stillness and purity.
Time passes and afternoon arrives, and as the sun rises, the rose warms. The dew slowly evaporates, like a secret dissolving. The evolution begins, where the green notes fade, giving way to a fuller, more carnal floral heart, reminiscent of sun-warmed petals and intimate, hidden gardens.
And finally, evening arrives, when the rose reveals its deepest essence. It opens completely, revealing sweetness, warmth, and a veil of amber sensuality. The notes become soft, with a sweet, golden-woody echo, like the memory of a day filled with life and light.
A rose that tells its journey: from the naive freshness of the morning to the mature fullness of its bloom, which does not simply perfume, but narrates and breathes, like a poem suspended in the air.
My olfactory memory:
A commissioned fragrance, the first of many, but one that carries with it all the emotion and anticipation of a journey imagined and strongly desired by someone else, and which opens up new horizons and new frontiers of olfactory interpretation in my creative journey, with new challenges that go far beyond the purely personal sphere.
